We know little about the reality of this man and less of his true character. Non violence has been flaunted a lot but is it effective in the face of fascists? Bertrand Russel stopped being a pacifist when Hitler hit the stage. And what does it really mean to be a pacifist, deep down; does it mean letting others use force to abuse you, or is it something deeper? If others abuse you and you do not resist, are you not bringing violence unto your self; is that not violent?
